Renee was more than ready for her turn to hold Konrad.
She also took on Joel's father in Bocce Ball. It was the first time she had played. (Joel will have to admit that she put up more fight than he did in his first game aginst his dad.)
The Stendel Cousins. Sharlene, Patti, Wendy, Shari and the token male, Rod.
The girls also tried thier hand at the wildly popular game of Corn Hole. ( Laura and I tried it on a different day and had to cheat to get enough points to be able to say the game was over. Guess we're just not great bean bag tossers!)

Visit to Michigan . . . Finally!
This is the the Stendel gang all together. Rod and Shari have 3 cousins from Ohio that all came up for Janie's Open House. We are at my brother-in-law, Michael's mother's family farm in Trufant, MI.
Rod and Shari with Lois and her husband Don.
It was so good to get my hands on Konrad again! He looks excited too!
Of course everyone needs a turn. Lauren and Konrad had lots of fun together throughout the girls' visit to MI.

Back to normal . . .
Well, the girls went to Michigan with their Grandma Lois and her husband Don. They left here on July 7th. They got back last night, July 27th. Rod and I set out to be footloose and fancy free. We went to Epcot and got to tour all of the countries. I love the Japanese drummers and Rod loves the French pastry shop.
We spent a couple of days doing yard work and housework. We went to work. We made stuff for dinner they don't care for. We witnessed a crazy woman using a purple Hummer to try to kill a young couple. Went out to restaurants with menus. Then we booked tickets to Michigan and went to see our girls.
Rod's sister, Shari and her family were going to Michigan for an Open House for my niece, Janie. When the kids graduate, they have an open house in FL and one in MI at their MI grandmother's home. We were shutting down the business while they were gone. Rod's Stendel cousins from OH (Cleveland area) were all going to be bringing their families up for the party. I also wanted to see Konrad and Keith and Kate were expected to have their little girl by the time we arrived. So many great reasons to visit. And for those of you laughing at me -just wait! You try to go kid less for 20 days!

16 & Under All-Stars
They had a couple of girls who were 15, so the 14 & unders had to play 16 & under teams.
These were their practice jerseys. Our company made the uniforms, the banner and we embroidered the batbags. The regular uniforms were a bit brighter.
Furniture!

Thrills!

Last Wednesday my girls went to Sea World with their cousins, Mike and Janie and their Grandma Lois and her husband Don. I still worry that Lauren is too short for the coasters. But obviously, she is not. Soon I will be the shortest in my family. (There is nothing like Cedar Point here-all rides. All the parks have some rides and lots of show and shops.)
They were able to ride all the rides. They got soaked on Journey to Atlantis. They rode Kraken twice (see picture) and they also got to try out the new Manta. Manta is the newest ride where you lay down as you ride the coaster.
